Wendy J. Pabich, Ph.D., is Founder and President of Water Futures, where she brings over thirty years experience in the water sector as a scientist and policy expert. She brings an unparalleled breadth and depth of understanding of the scientific, technological, political, regulatory, and financial aspects of the water sector. She provides her clients incisive strategic analysis of risk and opportunity to help them enhance their water assets.
Wendy has taught for Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and The Sierra Institute, and is author of Taking on Water: How One Water Expert Challenged Her Inner Hypocrite, Reduced Her Water Footprint (without Sacrificing a Toasty Shower), and Found Nirvana. She holds a Ph.D. in Hydrology and Biogeochemistry and a Masters in Public Policy and Planning from MIT; an M.S. in Geology from Duke University; a B.A. in Geography from Dartmouth College; and received a 40-hour certificate in Dispute Mediation from Harvard Law School. Wendy is a member of International Women’s Forum, and served on the board of directors for the Blaine County Land, Water and Wildlife Fund.
